Hear from Students from Latin America

The best way to learn what it's really like to study abroad is to hear from students who have already taken that step. Find out what Sebastián, Nayrana, Patricio and María Fernanda valued most about studying and living in Austria – and how their studies prepared them for their careers.

Coming to Austria to pursue my Bachelor's and Master's degrees was the best decision I have made so far. The excellent professors, top-quality campus facilities, and international community made my experience truly fulfilling. I decided to stay in Austria and now work as a research associate.
Sebastián Gómez from Mexico

I really liked the program's practical laboratory courses. During my studies, I started an internship as a Research Associate and was offered a permanent position after graduating. Coming from Brazil, I was also happy to discover how hospitable and helpful Austrians are. And I fell in love with skiing!
Nayrana Daborer-Prado from Brazil

During my studies, I got to know Austrian culture and even found some similarities with my own. I had the opportunity to complete my thesis and internship at RECOM in an area I am passionate about. After my internship, they offered me a job as a Junior Product and Project Manager.
Patricio Cantú Sánchez from Mexico

The Master's degree program in Sustainable Energy Systems gave me the experience and knowledge I was looking for. The combination of lectures and hands-on laboratory work prepared me well for my current role as a Project Manager in sustainable energy. A big plus is Upper Austria's beautiful nature.
María Fernanda Bustamante from Mexico
