The International Foundation Programme (IFP) offers you a focused and tailored preparation for your application to study at the FH Upper Austria.

A-Level / High School Diploma or equivalent

If the Austrian Higher Education Entrance Qualification is not yet met, the required level can be acquired within the International Foundation Programme. In general, A-level is required, but in some cases excellent performance in AS-level and GCSE-level courses might qualify as well

English Language Certificate B2

Accepted certificates are IELTS (6.0), TOEFL (79), Cambridge Certificates, not older than 2 years.

International applicants from Non-EU countries apply online only by April 30 at the latest.

For EU-citizens, the application deadline is August 31.

Programme fee: EUR 3,888.-
Please note: accommodation, travel and living cost to/in Austria are not included in the programme fee.

IFP GOES INTERNATIONAL

The IFP broadens its network and is now offered not only in Austria but also in the United Arab Emirates and Namibia!

We are proud that the Gulf Medical University in Dubai offers the IFP and therefore gives students from the the United Arab Emirates the chance to upgrade their secondary school education and start a bachelor study program then at the FH Upper Austria.

Prospective students from Namibia have now the chance to become a part of the students at FH Upper Austria, when they have completed the IFP Namibia at Private School Swakopmund. The Curriculum is the same as the IFP Austria and ideally prepares the students for their study start at FH Upper Austria.
