Degree-Seeking Students
At the FH Upper Austria, we offer degree programs in German and English. Students seeking admission to one of the German taught degree programmes require excellent command of German (at least B2 according to the European framework of reference for languages) in addition to fulfilling the standard entry requirements.
Applicants for English taught degree programs are required to submit an English Certificate together with their application. If you take a TOEFL test, you can use our university's TOEFL code (9775) to have the results sent to our institution directly.

Exceptions:
- Artificial Intelligence Solutions (Bachelor), Digital Arts (Bachelor): May 31, 2026 for all applicants (EU & non-EU / with or without a residence permit for Austria)
- Media Technology & Design (Bachelor), Interactive Media (Master), Digital Energy Solutions* (Master): May 31, 2026 for applicants from non-EU countries without a residence permit for Austria

WELS CAMPUS

Exception:
