In our internationally accessible degree programs "Agricultural Technology and Management", "Bio and Environmental Technology", "Food Technology and Nutrition" you will become part of the solution with employment opportunities in Europe and beyond. The Green Science program offers students without German language skills the opportunity to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc) at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. The Green Science program builds on a solid natural science foundation with indepth knowledge of many aspects of engineering and technology.

Enter the European Job Market

No knowledge of German? No problem! The degree program is taught in English at the beginning and in German from the 5th semester onwards. German courses are firmly integrated into the curriculum to be able to complete the specializations and the professional internship in German.

Green Science is the framework for a degree at the cutting edge of natural science and engineering. After a common scientific foundation phase, you can decide which path you would like to take and in which specialization you would like to obtain your Bachelor‘s degree. The three degree specializations include topics like:

  • General Biology, Microbiology and Molecular Biology
  • Chemistry, Biochemistry and Chemical Analysis
  • Soil Science and Forestry
  • Strategic Marketing and Innovation management
  • Recycling and Life-cycle analysis
  • Food production and Quality management

Study Options

The four year track will give you the opportunity to qualify for bachelor's degree programs at University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, catch up on missing courses and gain the required German language skills.* In year 3 you will choose your preferred study program

and continue your studies and internships in German and thus prepare for excellent job prospects in Austria.

*Candidates who fullfill those requirements already might be eligible for a 3 year study track. Details will be checked during the admission process.
