Intelligent combination of study and business practice

Intelligent Production Engineering offers a specialization in automation technology in the field of modern manufacturing processes and materials technology. In addition to the general technical content, the courses and company projects cover in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, planning and operation of production systems including robots, production engineering, company organization and mechatronic systems. The course is organized in a part-time, work-integrated form from the 3rd semester onwards. Students spend at least 3 days at the university and the rest of the time, including lecture-free periods, at the partner companies.

EU/EEA citizens: 363.36 EUR + 20,70 EUR per semester.

Non-EU/EEA citizens: 726.72 EUR + 20,70 EUR per semester. Merit-based scholarships are available.

Future career

After completing their studies, graduates can take on a variety of tasks in the project planning, development and operation of production facilities. This includes the independent planning of complete systems as well as production support and quality assurance. Furthermore, graduates are able to redesign production processes and evaluate them from a mechatronic point of view. Thanks to the knowledge acquired in conjunction with operational practice, graduates will be able to take on management responsibility in production, planning or related areas in the future.
