Green Science combines cutting-edge technologies and approaches to prepare you for solving real-world environmental challenges. The program focuses on the key environmental systems of water, soil, and air. You will learn how to analyze, model, and improve these systems using advanced methods in data analytics, environmental modelling, and life cycle assessment.

Good to Know

To support German-speaking students in adapting to an English-speaking academic environment, English is taught as a foreign language during the first two semesters. The courses help students build confidence in academic communication while raising their language proficiency to Cambridge Level C1.

What excites me about my degree program is the combination
of natural sciences, technology, and sustainability.
Thanks to the broad education, I was able to further develop
my interests in a targeted way and find my specialization in
environmental engineering. The hands-on teaching and the
welcoming, close-knit atmosphere in Wels provide the ideal
environment to actively contribute to solutions for future
ecological challenges.
