International Career Services

Welcome to the Electrical Engineering Program - Launching Your Global Career! Here is an insight into the additional services we offer our students during their studies.


1. Career Counseling: At our program, you receive support in identifying career opportunities both domestically and internationally. Our professors assist you in developing your career goals and strategies, whether it's by integrating relevant career paths into our curriculum or considering your goals during application interviews and excursions.

2. Internships and Job Placement: Explore internships and job offers through our Career Zone and the referral services provided by the program.

3. Application Support: We assist you in creating resumes (CVs) and cover letters that meet the requirements of international employers in our Social Skills courses.

4. Interview Preparation: Our training in the Social Skills courses prepares you for interviews, taking into account cultural differences.

5. Networking: Meet professionals from various industries and exchange ideas, whether at lectures, our "Career Talk for Internationals," or company excursions.

6. Visa and Work Permit Information: Obtain information about visas and work permits, such as through info sessions like the ABA's Red-White-Red Card, organized jointly with the International Office.

7. Career Events: Participate in job fairs, company presentations, or career talks, whether at our Career Fair on the Wels campus or other Career Zone events.

8. Support for Intercultural Adaptation: We offer information and resources to support students wishing to work or study in a foreign country, including cultural awareness, language support, and adaptation tips provided in our Social Skills courses.

9. Information on Further Education Programs: Learn about postgraduate study opportunities and further education programs, covered through our collaboration with the International Office.

10. Alumni Collaboration: Benefit from the experiences and knowledge of our alumni. Take part in Career Talks, company excursions, and alumni meetings, whether through the FH Upper Austria Alumni Club or program events.
