In the immediate vicinity of the University of Applied Sciences, there are modern residential complexes that have been specially adapted to the needs of students and are rented out as shared flats.

Compact Campus (Softwarepark 41-43)
The low-energy residential complexes in the immediate vicinity of the University of Applied Sciences each have 8 apartments of 75 m². Each apartment consists of three rooms, a communication room including kitchen, bathroom, toilet and covered loggia and is ideal for shared student accommodation.

Teich Häuser (Softwarepark 104, 105 and 106)
Just a few minutes' walk from the university buildings - close to the Softwarepark-Arena multi-purpose sports hall - are the three newest residential complexes with spacious leisure areas, the so-called "Teich Häuser". A total of 8 single apartments and 36 3-person shared apartments have been available to students here since September 2017.

Housing Benefit

The housing subsidy is a grant that is paid out monthly in the form of non-repayable subsidies for a period of one year and serves to reduce housing costs. The calculation of the housing subsidy is subject to a variety of factors and conditions, which are taken into account in individual cases by means of an application to the Province of Upper Austria.

How Much Is the Housing Benefit?

The amount of housing benefit is determined by the difference between the allowable and reasonable housing costs, whereby the upper limit is 300 Euro per month. Reasonable housing costs are the monthly household income minus the weighted household income.
