Studying full-time or part-time? This is how it works!

Full-time

First of all: Our full-time students can also work alongside their studies.

Full-time attendance on campus is Monday to Thursday. Studies start in mid-September.

Good to know! There are scholarships and support programs for full-time students to help you reduce your financial burden.

Part-time - only in German

Part-time attendance on campus is Friday afternoon and Saturday all day - as well as a block week at the start of the semester. The course starts at the beginning of September.

Studying internationally

In the 3rd semester: Hello world, here I come!

In the 3rd semester, you can spend a semester abroad at one of our many partner universities worldwide. The degree program and the International Office will help you with the planning and organization.

Work placement and thesis

In the 6th semester: Off to the business world!

The work placement takes place in the 6th semester for all students. Our students are already sought-after employees during their studies and can often choose from several job offers for their internship. Lecturers from business, the career festival on campus, the job portal and the large company network help students to find the right job.

In the 6th semester: Bachelor's thesis

Work placement and thesis can be combined very well. Many companies have exciting tasks that are suitable for the thesis and are supervised by a professor.

What types of courses are there in the degree program?

With us, you always study in small groups, regardless of whether it's a lecture, an exercise or a company project. Our courses are generally organized in presence, but often include group work or distance learning elements.

Things to know from the application to the start of your studies

• Your study place is secured! You are now ready to start your studies. The start of your studies begins with introductory events and information events about life on campus (Welcome Program).
• You will receive all information about the start of your studies (dates, book orders, payment deadlines) by e-mail in the summer.
• If you are informed about conditional admission, you may still be missing a positive degree certificate or other documents. As soon as these have been submitted, admission is confirmed.
• Keep calm if you are on the waiting list for the time being. You will be informed as soon as a place becomes available. This is possible at any time up to the start of the program in September.
• If you have any questions about your status in the admissions process, please contact the degree program office by e-mail/phone.
• By the way: If you have received a rejection, you can reapply the following year.
