The focus is on products that extend human physical abilities for both everyday life and the working world. These include, for example, intelligent exoskeletons as carrying aids or technologies in the areas of AI/Brain-Computer Interfaces/Augmented Reality as the "third hand of humans." Sensors, bionics, and digitalization are key drivers in this process. The students develop an integrated understanding of the technological, biological, ethical, social, and regulatory foundations regarding the question of how specific human actions can—and should—be expanded through technical products.
