Architecture & Civil Engineering: Creative Planning – Sustainable Building
Whether it’s creative interior design, digital project management, or technically demanding building construction in structural and civil engineering, the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Wels offers tomorrow's engineers and developers the ideal place to gain the skills they need for the future. The FH Upper Austria Wels campus offers two closely linked bachelor's degree programs: Architecture and Civil Engineering in Building Construction. Both start with a common first year, making it possible to change in the first two semesters, subject to available study places. Both degrees can also be obtained by completing a subsequent two-semester postgraduate program. Graduates of civil engineering can also continue with a four-semester Master degree program leading to the German-language “Diplom-Ingeneur” degree. The Master degree program in Architecture is in the planning stage. This flexibility opens up a wide range of career paths – from design and construction to operation and demolition – all with a strong emphasis on sustainability, digitalization, and practical relevance.
Our four faculties in Hagenberg, Linz, Steyr, and Wels offer everything you need for a successful degree program - modern buildings and equipment, inspiring learning environments, and numerous events for networking and exchange.
