Entry into a higher semester
HTL graduates with relevant prior knowledge can enter a higher semester directly.
For some Bachelor's degree programs, it is possible for students with a relevant HTL qualification to start directly in the 2nd semester (i.e. in the summer semester starting in March) and in some cases also in the 3rd semester (winter semester starting at the end of September/beginning of October).
The decision on the recognition of relevant previous knowledge is the responsibility of the respective head of studies. The entry scenario is agreed individually with the student concerned.
