Our students work on several very specific company projects during their studies. Not as an exception, but as standard, because we focus on the practical application of the subject matter.

Projects during the degree program
Case studies and projects in cooperation with companies during the degree programme offer students practical insights into companies from industry and business. IT and process management tasks are dealt with as well as standardisation or projects from quality management, risk management and controlling. In addition, students can also work on research projects.
Internship in the 6th semester
This is a very important part of the degree program. As the degree program has a very good reputation in the business world and has many contacts with companies, many companies seek contact with our students.
Our students are lucky that our degree program enjoys an excellent reputation: this opens many doors for internships. Many use the contacts from the internship to solve problems from companies in their bachelor theses and
problems from the companies and often receive permanent job offers straight away.

Collaboration in research projects
The University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria is the most research-intensive university of applied sciences in the German-speaking world. Around 530 research projects are currently active. We also have around 250 research assistants. We are always looking for interested students to work with us.
