SAS Business Analytics Specialist - a Joint Certification of FH OOE and SAS

How it works

Our modern digitalized world generates mind-numbing amounts of data. With all this data, the ability to extract intelligence and value from it is crucial for organizations. Data is the key to better business decisions. Hence, the demand for analytics and AI skills in the job market is soaring. The aim of this SAS Specialization is to provide these analytical- and business-skills.  

The SAS specialization consists of 150 hours of SAS learning material. It includes 2 elearning modules:
 

• SAS Programming:
  2 elearnings and 1 online certification to complete
• SAS Machine Learning:
  1 elearning and 1 online certification to complete
• And a live online SAS Students School (3 days) on topics such as Analytics Trends, Analytics lifecycle, SAS Viya environment, turning data into value, usecases

It results in a dedicated, jointly signed certificate and badge (FH OOE and SAS). It gets you the SAS skills, the ECTS credits, and an excellent boost in career chances!

Registration and admission

1. Let Markus Grau markus-grau@sas.com – the responsible of this Elective Program Module - know that you would like to participate.
2. Onboarding to the SAS Analytics School: Register here (with your s0123456789@fh-ooe.at email address):

   Important: Please reserve also the Wednesday evening of the following week of your selected course for the dedicated FH OOE SAS usecase workshop.
3. Onboarding to SAS Skillbuilder: Enroll in the SAS Skillbuilder for Students Program via “Access SAS Skillbuilder for students” with your s0123456789@fh-ooe.at email address (verification can take some time).

4. If you finished an e-learning module and are ready to take the certification exam,  get in contact with Markus Grau, send him the green Credly Learning Badge Link and get from him a Voucher Code for the exam.
5. Please make use of the various exam preparation possibilities on SAS Skillbuilder! Exam Content Guide, Practice Exam…
6. Register for the online certification – use your Voucher Access code. The process is straight forward and explained in the SAS Skillbuilder Portal (Home based exam).
7. After you have done all components this Elective Program and have successfully passing both exams, contact electives@fh-ooe.at to get the ECTS credits applied towards the general core electives. Please also contact Markus Grau to claim the SAS Specialization badge.
