Key areas: Medical Simulations, Telemonitoring, Bioprinting and Materials

The Department of Medical Engineeringand the International Office invite you to our sixth Winter School in Medical Engineering. The key areas will be: “Medical Simulations, Telemonitoring, Bioprinting and Materials”. There will be workshops, lectures, tutorials, field visits and cultural activities.
Target Audience:
Students at the end of their bachelor’s/undergraduate studies (eg. 5th semester) are invited to join us for one week and receive 2 ECTS. In addition to lectures and workshops, our program will include field visits and one day for cultural activities.
Admission requirements for students are:
Studies in Medical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering
Technical Studies with focus on medicine (Mechatronics, Medical Electronics,...)
Students preferred at the end of their undergraduate/bachelor studies (5th semester)
English requirement for students: min. B1

Costs:
The participation fee of 240,-- Euro will cover the workshops and lectures, site visits and cultural activities from Monday until Friday. It also includes the week-pass for public transport and the lunches.
Travel costs and costs for lodging have to be covered individually.
Lodging:
Please make your own arrangements. There are many hotels in Linz, Amedia HotelandMontage Hotel (Business&City) are just around the corner of our university. The cheapest option of staying in Linz is still Airbnb. There is also a youth hostel in Linz - the bus stop is around the corner and the bus brings you directly to FH Upper Austria.
