Design-Oriented Know-How and Practical Skills in Computer Animation, Audio/Video & Games

The Master's degree course in Digital Arts offers the opportunity to deepen and specialise in the fields of 2D/3D animation, motion design, visualisation, games and mixed reality, including their many facets. These specialisations can be individually combined by taking elective modules. The degree program offers an extensive project component and a wide range of courses that combine theory and practice at a high level. The range of courses is supplemented by a wide range of elective modules on special topics as well as workshops and seminars. In addition to practice-oriented training, independent work, an examination of scientific methods, a systematic approach and the development of communication skills are central concerns.

    Completion of at least a 6 semester specialised relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g. in the field of media technology, media design, video/film and timebased & interactive media) with audio/video, multimedia and computer animation strand worth a minimum of 60 ECTS towards accreditation, or comparable higher education at university level. Good proficiency in German.
