Graduates of the FH program can be employed in a wide variety of roles. They provide assistance and support with individual, familial, economic, and even community issues. Their education specifically qualifies them for areas where legal intervention is required, such as public youth welfare services, guardianship, patient advocacy, probation services, out-of-court settlements, as well as counseling and intervention centers.

The job market situation for social workers is very favorable. Funding is mostly provided by public funds. The areas where legal mandates apply, such as social work with 'non-motivated' clientele, are expected to become more significant in the future.
