Job: Head of international sales department for sailing and kitesurfing lines | Study: GSM
What were the highlights of your time at university? What was your best student moment?
GSM stood for work hard - play hard - we spent nights studying together, motivating each other and then celebrating each other's successes together. One for all, all for one.
Why did you decide to study at Campus Steyr back then?
The family atmosphere, the fact that you are not treated like a number but like a person. Quote from Mr. Hofstadler: "I treat you all as equals because if you do it well, you could be my boss one day and I don't want you to have a bad memory of me."
What parts/knowledge from your studies have particularly helped you to achieve your career plans?
On the one hand, the sales content and training, which is unique in Steyr and prepares you 100% for a career in sales. On the other hand, the ICM content as well as marketing and strategic content in general, not a day goes by where I don't think back, this is exactly what I learned and this is exactly what I need now.
What tips can you give current students for their future careers?
No pain, no gain or "You don't learn for the grades, you learn for life" - Nobody ever looked at my grades from my studies, but the work ethic that you get in GSM is unique and separates the wheat from the chaff in business.
