What were the highlights during your time in university? What was your most memorable moment?

Among the highlights, I count our evening study groups on days before exams, as well as events like the Beer-Race or Boatmania. Regarding the most beautiful moment in my studies: there are several moments I fondly recall, but the most beautiful one was when I walked out of the examination room after my Master's exam, knowing that I had passed.

Why did you choose to study at the Steyr campus back then?

One of the main reasons was definitely the comprehensive package with a strong practical orientation. It was always important for me to quickly apply my acquired knowledge in practice. Additionally, FH Steyr, as the only university in the vicinity, allowed me to pursue my bachelor's and master's studies in this field while working.

Which parts/knowledge from your studies have particularly supported you in achieving your career goals?

I don't think I have achieved all my career goals shortly after graduating, but so far, my knowledge in financial management, controlling, cost accounting, and MS Excel has been particularly helpful. The CRF program provides a broad spectrum of knowledge, making graduates well-equipped for a variety of jobs in the financial world, in my opinion.

What advice can you give to current students for their future journey?

Enjoy university life, gather as many experiences as you can, and most importantly, even if you're close to despair, don't give up!
