Bachelor's Thesis: Critical Analysis of the Goodwill Accounting and Reporting Practices under IFRS Using Selected DAX40 Companies with a Focus on Discussion Paper DP/2020/1
"My bachelor's thesis focuses on the accounting of Goodwill under IFRS. Four selected companies from the German stock index (DAX) were closely analyzed regarding their accounting practices and the challenges they face. The proposed solutions developed at the end of my work provide various approaches to make decision-relevant information more accessible to investors. Existing studies often address the topic on a sector- or index-based level. In contrast, my work delves into the accounting practices of the four selected companies in detail, highlighting potential future improvements."
