The search engine PRIMO searches the printed media of the FH Upper Austria libraries as well as the majority of the contents of the online resources licensed by the FH Upper Austria at once (search field "Catalog Plus").
To get access to the online content, you need to log in to PRIMO with your FH Upper Austria access data.
Information on the online resources and how to access them, can be found on the online resources page.
Online Resources
The Online-Resources with E-Journals, E-Books and Standards are provided by the FH Upper Austria as support for study, science and research.
Electronic Periodical Library
In addition to searching in Primo, the EPL (EZB) can be used to search the electronic journal holdings of the FH Upper Austria libraries. The periodicals on offer by the FH Upper Austria are indicated through the use of light signals. Periodicals with a yellow signal can only be accessed while present on one of the FH Upper Austria campuses.
Access to electronic periodicals of the FH Upper Austria
Most magazine publishers regulate access to their publications available at a charge through the use of the IP address of the computer submitting the request. A yellow signal indicates periodicals for which the FH Upper Austria has a license. It is only possible to access the complete electronic text if you are using a computer that is situated on one of the campuses of the FH Upper Austria (Steyr, Linz, Wels, Hagenberg).
Certain publishers enable access to the subscribed titles with a user name and password. If this is the case, you can request the relevant data from your library team. Please bear in mind that it is not permitted to pass on this access information to a third party!
