PPSN 2024: International Conference on Parallel Problem Solving From Nature
The renowned International Conference on Parallel Problem Solving From Nature (PPSN) will take place at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria's Hagenberg Campus from September 14 - 18, 2024.
The University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria is delighted to host this year's International Conference on Parallel Problem Solving From Nature, a renowned biannual open forum fostering the study of natural models, iterative optimization heuristics search heuristics, machine learning, and other artificialintelligence approaches. From 14-18 September, practitioners will present their work at Hagenberg Campus, which ranges from rigorously derived mathematical results to carefully crafted empirical studies. Proceedings will be published as part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).
PPSN was originally designed to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of Natural Computing, the study of computing approaches which are gleaned from natural models. Today, the conference series has evolved and welcomes works on all types of iterative optimization heuristics. Notably, submissions on connections between search heuristics and machine learning or other artificialintelligence approaches are also welcome.
