At the Research Center Steyr, research and development activities focus primarily on the areas of management and digitalization and are characterized by an optimal combination of scientific orientation and practical relevance. The application-oriented state-of-the-art research and development covers a comprehensive range of topics along the value chain.

In addition to the full-time teaching staff, more than 70 scientific employees are active in research.
In 2023, 197 scientific articles were published and 117 research and contract projects were implemented. Third-party funds amounting to 6.7 million euros were acquired.
