On Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, 2026, the faculties of FH Upper Austria invite prospective students to explore the study programs and campus atmosphere in Hagenberg, Linz, Steyr, and Wels as part of the Open House.
Prospective students can choose from 75 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs: Computer Science, Communication, and Media at the Hagenberg Campus; Medical Engineeringand Applied Social Sciences at the Linz Campus; Businessand Management at the Steyr Campus; andEngineeringand Applied Natural Sciences at the Wels Campus.
FH Upper Austria offers the opportunity to discover this diverse range of study programs on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hagenberg, Linz, and Wels campuses, and on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Steyr Campus. Visitors can attend presentations, talk with faculty, students, and staff, ask questions, explore projects, and join campus and laboratory tours. Information on balancing studies and work, as well as on the University Entrance Qualification Program, completes the offering.
Selected sessions will also be available in English. For those who cannot attend in person, two online webinars (in English) will be offered.

Information Opportunities — Friday, March 20, 2026 (9 a.m.–5 p.m.)
Hagenberg Campus The Hagenberg Campus stands for Computer Science, Communication, Media, and Design. Visitors can expect a diverse program covering degree options in computer science, AI, digital media, communication, and design. In addition to general info sessions about studying and living in Hagenberg, there will be campus and building tours, workshops, exhibitions, and a lounge for parents and teachers. Various presentations, consultations, and campus tours will also be offered in English.
Linz Campus The Linz Campus focuses on Society & Management, Medical Engineering, and Social Work—fields that place people at the center. Visitors can learn about full-time and part-time study options at info booths in the main hall and during presentations. Open classes allow guests to experience real lectures. The program is complemented by insights into state-of-the-art medical engineering laboratories.
Wels Campus At the Wels Campus, visitors can explore programs in Engineering, Energy & Materials, Innovation, Design & Business, Environment & Food Technology, as well as Architecture & Civil Engineering. The diverse program includes personal consultations, info stands on study programs, student housing, and semesters abroad, tours of modern laboratories, presentations, and conversations with students, alumni, and professors. Numerous exhibitions showcase student projects. A special highlight is the tour of the newly opened Hydrogen Research Center and the H2 hydrogen tractor “FCTRAC.” Food and refreshments are well taken care of, with a snack buffet, café, cafeteria lunch, and a campus beverage stand.

Steyr Campus The Steyr Campus focuses on Businessand Management. Info sessions on study programs, semesters abroad, tips for the admission process and motivation letter, campus tours, and insights on living in Steyr give prospective students a deeper understanding of their options. The 15 bachelor’s and master’s programs present themselves through detailed talks. Personal consultations, workshops, and open lectures provide additional hands-on impressions.
