The Department of Medical Engineering and the International Office invite you to our 8. Winter School in Medical Engineering. The key areas will be: “Medical Simulations, Telemonitoring, Bioprinting and Materials”. There will be workshops, lectures, tutorials, field visits and social activities.
Admission requirements for students are:
- Studies in Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, technical studies with focus on medicine (mechatronics, medical electronics, …)
- Students: preferred at the end of their undergraduate/bachelor studies (5th semester)
- English: min. B1

Costs:
The participation fee is 260 Euro and will cover the workshops and lectures, site visits and cultural activities from Monday until Friday. It also includes the week-pass for public transport and the lunches.
Travel costs and costs for lodging have to be covered individually.
Lodging:
Please make your own arrangements. There are many hotels in Linz, Dormero Hotel and Montage Hotel (Business&City) are just around the corner of our university, B&B Hotel is 10 minutes from the campus. The cheapest option of staying in Linz is still Airbnb. There is also a youth hostel in Linz - the bus stop is around the corner and the bus brings you directly to FH Upper Austria.
