Study Internationally

Whether it's a semester or internship abroad or studying in English on campus, an IT and media degree program in Hagenberg is the ticket to the big wide world for many and offers the opportunity to get to know other nationalities and cultures.

Hello World, Here We Come!

Studying internationally not only brings contacts and new friends all over the world as well as insights into other cultures, but above all gives you a head start in the competition for the best jobs. Global thinking and knowledge of other cultures are of great importance for the IT and media experts of today and tomorrow. The School of Informatics, Communication and Media offers students many opportunities to gain international experience and strengthen their intercultural skills: through a semester abroad at one of the many partner universities of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria worldwide, an internship abroad, participation in international events (including on campus), as well as lectures and courses by visiting professors from abroad. Two degree programs in Hagenberg are taught entirely in English. Individual courses are offered in English across the other degree programs in Hagenberg. In addition, there is the possibility of completing a double degree program and thus simultaneously acquiring two academic titles at different universities, one at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and the second at the partner university.
