online application via the online application platform. - application period for IFP 2026/27 starts in October 2025, application deadline is April 30th 2026 for applicants without valid residence permit.

Required Documents:
- School leaving certificate**
- Proof of highest academic qualification (e.g. diplomas, transcripts)* 
- Copy of passport
- Motivation letter
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Proof of English language proficiency at B2 level, not older than 2 years (only IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge)

- Optional: Proof of German language proficiency (e.g. ÖSD, Goethe, DSD)

* Foreign documents must be properly certified according to the regulations of the issuing country and translated into German or English.
** In case your secondary education is not yet completed, the final certificate may be submitted later.

The math pre-assessment is an online test designed to evaluate your fundamental mathematical skills. It is a required part of the application process. 

A sufficient score is necessary in order to move forward to the next stage.

After applying online, your educational background, work experience (if any) and motivation will be reviewed and you will start your 

Online Learning class with Berlitz
1) Registration via Berlitz microsite. A voucher for a reduced course fee will be provided (valid for 6 or 12 months - EUR 80,- will later be deducted from the tuition fee)
2) Payment of reduced course fee
3) Placement test & start of 20h learning module
4) Completion of German module

Interview 

We will contact you for an obligatory online interview (via MS Teams) only if

- you have completed the Berlitz Online German class
- you have passed the Math pre-assessement
- your documents are reviewed positively 

This interview is part of the application process and aims to get to know you better.

Shortly after the interview, you will receive either an offer or a rejection from us. At that time, we will also provide further details regarding the next organizational steps.
