Your springboard for the non-profit, healthcare, and public sectors

The part-time Master's program offers industry-specific general management training with a focus on non-profit organizations and public institutions. With experts from academia and practice, state-of-the-art knowledge and trends in non-profit and public management are explored in small groups, allowing students to acquire well-founded, industry-specific competencies at the master's level. As part of the program, students independently conduct projects for non-profit organizations and public institutions. This allows the knowledge gained to be directly transferred into practice. Various elective modules enable further and individual specialization, for example in the healthcare sector or social management. Providing a comprehensive understanding of the management of non-profit organizations and the public sector prepares students in the best possible way for future leadership challenges

    Degree with courses in the social sciences or economics amounting to at least 30 ECTS credits.

    People without a bachelor's or diploma degree in economics - such as lawyers, political scientists or social workers - now also have direct access to the MNP master's degree program. To facilitate this access, we offer intensive business administration courses alongside the course.

Career

With over 400 graduates, the Master’s program is one of the established offerings at FH Oberösterreich. The combined study format integrates the advantages of both on-campus and online components (30%). The intensive lecture schedule on Fridays (starting from noon), Saturdays, and one block week per semester provides an ideal framework for a part-time study program.

The Master’s program has been accredited since 2007 and was updated in 2023. The updated version of the program will be offered starting October 2024. For uniform marketing purposes, we are already using the new Master’s title “Managing Non-Profit and Public Services” when presenting current students and alumni on this website.
