Martin Lanzinger (24) from Wallsee-Sindelburg was honored this year with the "Chimney Award" from the FH OÖ Faculty of Businessand Management at the Steyr campus. As a graduate of the Production and Management (PMT) program at the FH OÖ Faculty of Businessand Management in Steyr, he received the award for his outstanding achievements and exceptional thesis, making him one of only six students in the entire graduating class.
Lean Production meets Industry 4.0
In his thesis, Martin Lanzinger explored the widespread concept of Lean Production and investigated how this concept could be optimally integrated with the Industry 4.0 concept and its associated technologies. The uniqueness of his research lies in the development of improvement possibilities for existing methods through the integration of new technologies, creating added value for companies. The title of his thesis: "Assessed Influence of Industry 4.0 Technologies on Lean Production Methods."

Martin Lanzinger is particularly enthusiastic about the combination of engineeringandbusiness topics and the strong practical relevance in his studies at the FH OÖ Faculty of Management.
