20 years of logistics studies at the FH Upper Austria Campus Steyr

In these two decades, the range of courses in the field of logistics at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria has expanded to include three specialized courses. A total of 1,600 graduates have already successfully completed a business degree in Steyr with a focus on logistics.
Logistics graduates shape Austria's economy
A lot has happened at Campus Steyr since the first logistics course was introduced. Today, the International Logistics Management (ILM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Logistics Engineeringand Management (LEM) degree programs offer outstanding training for future logistics experts. The 1,600 graduates shape the economy in industry, trade and service sectors, but also as founders of their own companies. The professional careers of the alumni reflect the impressive diversity of the logistics sector.
“Logistics - a field full of opportunities”
In his opening speech at the alumni meeting, Franz Staberhofer, Head of the Logistics degree programmes, emphasized the remarkable development of the “Logistikum”: “With 70 employees, Campus Steyr has grown into an important location for research and teaching in the field of logistics. The careers of our graduates show how diverse the opportunities in logistics are - from small companies to large corporations, from successful start-ups to management positions in industry. We are particularly pleased with the positive feedback from our alumni about their training and careers."
A reunion full of memories
The alumni reunion of the first year offered former students the perfect opportunity to refresh old contacts, listen to exciting presentations and talk about their professional experiences. The participants were unanimous: the logistics degree program at the FH Upper Austria Campus Steyr laid the foundation for their successful careers and enabled them to put their individual strengths and interests into practice. “The degree program was a great basis for setting the course for a successful professional future."
