Welcome to the Library!

We provide students, lecturers, and researchers of our faculty with literature and information according to their needs. As a place of free access to knowledge, we are of course also welcoming our alumni and interested external persons.

Personal contact and individual support is our foremost concern. We encourage encounters, dialogue and community on our premises and are available to assist our users in all matters of information retrieval and evaluation. We help people acquire the skills they need to understand data, find information and share knowledge.

Binding of theses

Students at the Hagenberg campus can have the required copies of their theses bound in the library. The binding system we offer (Surebind) complies with the requirements of all Hagenberg degree programs. Documents up to a maximum of 500 sheets 80g/m² can be bound. Please come by with the finished printouts during library opening hours.
The binding process itself takes about 15 minutes. Mandatory copies are bound free of charge, information regarding the required formal quality of the thesis can be obtained (exclusively) from the degree program secretariats.
The printers in the FH-building can also be used for printing. Our printers are filled with 80g/m² paper. The student ID and the 4-digit PIN code (to be found in the LEVIS account) are required for the printing process. Further information on printing at the Hagenberg campus and the costs can be found at: https://elearning.fh-ooe.at.

An external drive for data CDs is available in the library.

Library etiquette & netiquette

It is important to us that everyone feels comfortable here and that we work together to ensure that this remains the case. Everything else can be found in our library rules.
