The School of Informatics, Communications and Media at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Hagenberg offers a wide range of cutting-edge master’s programs – from Data Science and Cyber Security to Digital Media, Online Communication, Software Engineering, and Mobile Computing. Please note: All of our master’s programs are taught in German, except the English-language Master’s in Interactive Media

The info session for our English-taught Master's degree in Interactive Media will be held in German. Please note that info sessions for our German-taught Master's programs are also conducted in German; however, individual advice in English is available.

This Is How You Can Participate in our Online Info Sessions via Teams
You can take part in our Online Study Talks without registering. All you need is an internet-enabled device with sound output.
Our Online Info Sessions are held via Microsoft (MS) Teams. To participate, simply click on the link to the study program of your interest.
- To participate on a laptop/PC, you can either join via the MS Teams app (available for free download at https://www.microsoft.com/en/microsoft-teams/group-chat-software/) or in a web browser. You then only need to enter a user name to be admitted to the virtual room. Please make sure that you are using a browser supported by Microsoft: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, the latest version of Firefox.
- To participate via a mobile device, it is necessary to download the Microsoft Teams app from the respective app store. The participation link can then be opened via the app.
Please note the following participation and communication rules:
- The online info sessions start punctually at the specified time. Please enter the virtual room via the link approx. 5-10 minutes before the start. As soon as the talk starts, you will be let in automatically.
- The respective presenter will explain what is covered in the info session to you at the beginning - usually the presentation on the study program takes place first and questions are answered afterwards.
- Please switch off your camera and switch your microphone to "mute" during the entire info session. You can ask any questions you may have via the chat.
