On March 20, we invite you to join us for our Open House. Whether you're interested in Informatics or Digital Media – explore our campus and degrees, dive into student life and discover which program is right for you.
On March 20, 2026, we are opening our doors again for prospective students. If you are considering studying at Hagenberg and want to experience campus life first-hand, this is the perfect opportunity. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can explore our degree programs in Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Media, Communication, and Design and learn more about student life in Hagenberg — Austria’s hotspot for digital innovation.
Throughout the day, we offer a diverse program: from individual, personal advising sessions and info talks to campus tours and showcases of student projects. Get an early impression of your future career paths and speak directly with current students about their experiences!

Open House Program
Highlights (09:00 – 17:00 CET):
- Info sessions about studying and student life in Hagenberg, our degree programs, and studying abroad (FH2 building, level 0)
- Personal advice and guidance from our student advisory team, faculty members, and students (FH2 building, levels 2–4)
- Parents’ & teachers’ lounge for exchanging with our student advisory team in a relaxed atmosphere – and taking a short break (FH2 building, level 2, foyer)
- Campus and building tours in German, including a visit to the student residence as well as our labs and studios, every full hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional tours in English at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm. (meeting point: FH2 building, level 2)
- Program-specific project & lab tours immediately following each degree program info session (meeting point: FH2 building, level 0)
- Exhibition of student and research projects – not only to view but also to try out (FH2 building, levels 2–4)
- Workshops and open labs – explore and get hands-on (FH2 building, level 4)
- Information on study financing, grants and scholarships, as well as housing on and around campus (FH2 building, level 2)
- Info booths on sports and leisure activities, the ÖH student union, and our International Office (FH2 building, level 2)
Special program on part-time and dual study options
Open class sessions and personal advising – also available after 5:00 p.m.! Learn everything you need to know about the bachelor’s degree programs Software Engineering and Hardware-Software Design, as well as the master’s degree programs Human-Centered Computing, Information Engineering & Management, and Information Security Management.
Special program for international applicants
Info sessions, campus tours, and personal advising in English – available both on site and online.

No – except if you’d like to reserve your personal breakfast croissant (Secure your croissant now!).
When and where should I come?
March 20, 2026, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Campus Hagenberg, FH2 building. You will also find our Info Point there – the main place to go for questions and information materials, including the Open House program booklet, in the foyer on level 2.
How do I get there?
Easily by car or public transportation. Check out travel directions, parking information, and the campus map now.
Can you remind me of the event so I don’t miss it?

Can I come with my school class?
Absolutely. We are happy to offer a joint special tour tailored to your interests. Simply contact us at beratung@fh-hagenberg.at.
Can I get a confirmation of attendance?
Everyone can receive a confirmation of attendance at the Info Point on request.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Of course. Our Campina cafeteria offers meals and snacks. There are also several restaurants and cafés around campus. Just take a look at the cafeteria menu and the dining options nearby. A small refreshment will also be available in our advising rooms.
