The content for this Life Sciences Analytics Specialization has been developed in conjunction with industry experts, clients and partners of the LS market and SAS LS solution specialists. Base was also the fact, that many leading LS industry firms are not finding appropriate new talents with the skills needed for this industry. 

This SAS specialization consists of 150 hours of SAS learning material and includes

• The Life Sciences Analytics School is a Live online format that will be held 1x per year 
  
   
• The SAS Programming Certification is an online e-learning format, that can be attended anytime anywhere (web-based) 
  
  The e-learning environment integrates SAS Skillbuilder and SAS Viya for Learners. They are specifically designed for Academic use and include everything needed in the learning experience.

• SAS Fundamentals in Clinical Research is as well an online e-learning format, that can be attended anytime anywhere (web-based)
  
   
• The LEAP study is a guided usecase. It is a Live online format that will be held 1x per year
  
   
• Dedicated SAS Personnel is actively supporting students throughout the learning experience. 

It results in a dedicated, jointly signed certificate and badge (FH OOE and SAS). It gets you the SAS skills and industry knowledge, the ECTS credits, and an excellent boost in career chances for the Life Sciences Industry!

Registration and admission

2. Onboarding to the SAS Life Sciences Analytics School: Register here (with your s0123456789@fh-ooe.at email address):

3. Onboarding to SAS Skillbuilder: Enroll in the SAS Skillbuilder for Students Program via “Access SAS Skillbuilder for students” with your s0123456789@fh-ooe.at email address (verification can take some time).

4. If you finished the 2 SAS Base Programming e-learnings module and are ready to take the certification exam, get in contact with Markus Grau, send him the green Credly Learning Badge Links and get from him a Voucher Code for the exam.
5. Register for the online certification – use your Voucher Access code. The process is straight forward and explained in the SAS Skillbuilder Portal (Home based exam).
6. Continue with the SAS Fundamentals in Clinical Research e-learning modules…
7. Continue with the LEAP study – the guided usecase on the defined date

8. After you have done all components this Elective Program and have successfully passing the SAS Base Programming exam, contact electives@fh-ooe.at to get the ECTS credits applied towards the general core electives. Please also contact Markus Grau to claim the SAS Specialization badge.
9. It is of advantage to start with the SAS Life Sciences Analytics school, but not mandatory. You can also start with the SAS Base Programming e-learning module in SAS Skillbuilder…
