InnoCamp36 is a 36-hour innovation competition at Campus Steyr, organized by the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) program. Open to all FH OÖ students, it allows participants to apply their knowledge to real business challenges.
Interdisciplinary teams of 5-10 students tackle future - oriented problems, creating solutions through intense collaboration. They present their ideas in a start-up pitch to a jury, with the top three teams winning prizes sponsored by partner companies. Optionally, promising ideas can be further developed within the participating companies.

In diesem Kurs lernst du, wie Datenmanagement funktioniert und welche Rolle Künstliche Intelligenz dabei spielt. In this course, participants will acquire fundamental knowledge of the principles and concepts behind neural networks and develop the ability to design and train them effectively. They will learn to apply deep neural networks and convolutional neural networks to practical tasks and utilize various types of neural networks in Python using TensorFlow/Keras to solve real-world problems. Bei der virtuellen Realität handelt es sich um eine Technologie, die dem Benutzer ermöglicht, durch Stimulierung der Sinne in die virtuelle Welt einzutauchen. Interaktive stereoskopische Grafiken werden angezeigt, während die Kopfposition des Benutzers verfolgt wird, um perspektivisch korrekte Bilder zu erzeugen.

Die Themen des Kurses umfassen Konzepte wie Interaktion und Navigation, untersuchen die Hardware und die zugrundeliegenden Aspekte von Eingabe- und Ausgabegeräten wie visuelle Wahrnehmung und Stereoskopie. Spezielle Themen wie Visualisierung, vernetzte und kollaborative virtuelle Umgebungen werden behandelt. Der Fokus wird auf die Anwendungen und deren Entwicklung mit Hilfe bestehender Softwarepakete gelegt.

Der Kurs umfasst theoretische Grundlagen des Kunststoff-, Metall- und Keramik-3D-Drucks. Du erlernst die Grundlagen der softwarebasierten Erstellung von 3D-Modellen. Die 3D-Designs werden während des Kurses mittels additiver Fertigungsmethoden wie Filament- und Harzdrucker sowie selektivem Laserschmelzen gedruckt. Umfassende Fähigkeiten werden in einem Projekt erworben, in dem ein funktionsfähiger Prototyp, z.B. eine Handyhalterung, additiv hergestellt wird. Die hergestellten Teile werden mechanisch und zerstörungsfrei mittels Methoden wie Laserscanning und Computertomographie geprüft

In this course you will gain detailed knowledge of the development, construction, design and manufacture of vehicles and you can implement this in the „Formula Student“ project. You will get to know methods for independently organizing a team and learn how to evaluate the development using business methods of cost accounting.

The teams of the international Formula Student event series will participate in a global engineering competition along with teams from other universities.

In diesem Kurs erhältst du einen umfassenden Einblick in die Wasserstofftechnologie. Du lernst die verfügbaren Energieressourcen und die chemischen Grundlagen kennen, die für die Erzeugung und Nutzung von Wasserstoff relevant sind. Der Kurs behandelt verschiedene Verfahren zur Wasserstoffproduktion sowie dessen vielfältige Einsatzmöglichkeiten in Industrie, Mobilität und Energiesystemen. 
Zudem setzt du dich mit der bestehenden und zukünftigen Wasserstoffinfrastruktur sowie den zugrunde liegenden Technologien auseinander. Sicherheitsaspekte im Umgang mit Wasserstoff werden ebenso thematisiert wie die Funktionsweise und Anwendungsfelder von Brennstoffzellen

The course aims to raise awareness of sustainability and to provide knowledge and tools for sustainable design, especially in the field of medical engineering. It covers frameworks, such as the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the U.N. and the EU Green Deal, guidelines and reporting standards, and how these regulatory efforts drive innovation. There is a focus on ecological design and life cycles of medical products, also in the form of an in-class project.

You will gain knowledge in the most important frameworks of sustainability, reporting standards and regulations, as well as ecological design in the medical engineering area. The course provides tools for implementing sustainability in the design and life cycles of medical products.

In diesem Kurs erhältst du ein fundiertes Verständnis für die verschiedenen Arten von Energiespeichern und ihre Rolle in modernen Energiesystemen. Du lernst die Definition und Klassifizierung von Energiespeichern kennen und erfährst, in welchen Bereichen thermische und mechanische Speicher benötigt werden. 
Der Kurs behandelt unterschiedliche Speichertechnologien, darunter sensible, latente und thermochemische Wärmespeicher sowie mechanische Systeme wie Pumpspeicherkraftwerke, Druckluft- und Schwungradspeicher. Außerdem setzt du dich mit dem Einsatz von Energiespeichern im Lastmanagement auseinander.
