In diesem Kurs werden Simulationsmodelle zur Verbesserung/Optimierung der Produktionsplanung erstellt und die Planung einer mehrstufigen Produktion/Lieferkette anhand eines vorgegeben Simulationsmodells optimiert.
Folgende Inhalte werden behandelt:
→ Simulation verschiedener Produktionsplanungsmethoden: Kanban inkl. Produktionslosgrößen, Plansteuerungmit Rückwärtsterminierung, CONWIP, Meldebestandsverfahren
→ Simulation von Logistik und Supply Chain Management: Mehrstufige Lieferkette, Materialtransport
→ Simulationsbasierte Optimierung: Heuristische Optimierung mittels OptQuest (oder alternative Anwendung), Enumeration des Lösungsraums
→ Mehrstufige Vorgehensweise zur Enumeration von Teil-Lösungsräumen.

Aufbauend auf den Inhalten der Lehrveranstaltung „Einführungin die Prozessautomatisierung“ vertieft diese Veranstaltung wesentliche Kompetenzen im Bereich der  Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Die Schwerpunkte liegen auf der Identifikation geeigneter Prozesse, der Analyse von Business Cases sowie der detaillierten Aufbereitung und Erfassung von Prozessen. Zudem werden zentrale UiPath-Kompetenzen intensiv behandelt, darunter die Orchestrierung automatisierter Prozesse, die Extraktion von Daten aus Dokumenten und die Automatisierung von Abläufen in SAP.

This event is a worthy competition where teams of students have 36 hours to come up with a solution to a real-world problem given by a company.
→ Each team is made up of 5 to 10 students with widely differing talents and interests ranging from business and intercultural aspects over sales and marketing to technical knowledge.
→ The teams will get assistance by the companies and the organising committee.
→ At the end of the 36 hours intensive workshops, the teams present their approaches and solutions to a jury in the form of a start-up pitch.
→ Besides grading, the best three teams are awarded by attractive prizes that are sponsored by the company partners.

This course has its focus on heuristic methods (problemspecific methods vs. metaheuristics, construction vs. improvement heuristics, neighborhood and distance of solutions, local search, non-population-based methods, Simulated Annealing, Tabu Search) and population-based methods (Ant-Colony Optimization, Swarm Intelligence, Genetic Algorithms, Evolutionary Strategies, Genetic Programming).

In the exercises the parameterization of algorithms will be trained, analytical as well as empirical analysis of different optimization techniques using HeuristicLab, a generic open source framework for heuristic optimization methods.

ANMELDUNG

Der Kurs umfasst theoretische Grundlagen des Kunststoff-, Metall- und Keramik-3D-Drucks. Du erlernst die Grundlagen der softwarebasierten Erstellung von 3D-Modellen. Die 3D-Designs werden während des Kurses mittels additiver Fertigungsmethoden wie Filament- und Harzdrucker sowie selektivem Laserschmelzen gedruckt. Umfassende Fähigkeiten werden in einem Projekt erworben, in dem ein funktionsfähiger Prototyp, z.B. eine Drohne, additiv hergestellt wird. Die hergestellten Teile werden mechanisch und zerstörungsfrei mittels Methoden wie Laserscanning und Computertomographie geprüft. Für diesen Kurs benötigst du einen eigenen Laptop!

DER KURS IST AUSGEBUCHT

You will have an understanding of how electrochemical, electrical, mechanical and thermal storage systems work. You will get to know how to operate a storage system and their integration into comprehensive energy systems.

This course focusses on several types of batteries:
Basics of energy conversion, capacitor batteries, lithium ion batteries, traction and storage batteries (lead, nickel, sodium), high-energy batteries, redox flow batteries

You will learn about the application range of the different battery technologies, system integration, legal framework, funding for battery technologies.

This course teaches the physical and engineering fundamentals in the field of electromobility. You get to know the main challenges in the integration of electric vehicles into the existing energy system, the influence of legal requirements and the dovetailing with the energy transition. You will learn how to calculate bases for the expansion of electromobility and carry out simulations.

In this course you will gain detailed knowledge of the development, construction, design and manufacture of vehicles and you can implement this in the „Formula Student“ project. You will get to know methods for independently organizing a team and learn how to evaluate the development using business methods of cost accounting.

The teams of the international Formula Student event series will participate in a global engineering competition along with teams from other universities.

The course aims to raise awareness of sustainability and to provide knowledge and tools for sustainable design, especially in the field of medical engineering. It covers frameworks, such as the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the U.N. and the EU Green Deal, guidelines and reporting standards, and how these regulatory efforts drive innovation. There is a focus on ecological design and life cycles of medical products, also in the form of an in-class project.
You will gain knowledge in the most important frameworks of sustainability, reporting standards and regulations, as well as ecological design in the medical engineering area. The course provides tools for implementing sustainability in the design and life cycles of medical products.
