at the FH Upper Austria Campus Wels

You have all the options, the world is open to you and you're flirting with Wels? Well, 2,000 students did the same before you in the last academic year and went one step further: They enrolled with us and are completing one of 31 degree courses, from Bachelor's to Master's.
There are several reasons for this: the practical, research-oriented training, small working groups, internationality and excellent prospects. We see technology here as a lever to convey content in such a way that it will later enrich your life, make everyday life easier with solutions and also change the world in a positive way bit by bit.
Was wir dir beim Open House bieten:
- Advice & information stands
- to all Wels FH degree programs in the auditorium
- on student residences, student representation, semesters abroad, studying without a Matura
- Lectures on the degree programs at the FH Upper Austria Campus Wels
- Exhibition of interesting student projects, such as the hydrogen recumbent bike developed by students, control engineering experiments "Ball on Ball", lightweight components to touch - from Formula 1 to air cabs, augmented reality in construction, food research, photobioreactor for algae, microorganisms under the microscope and much more.
- Campus and laboratory tours (e.g. also to the new laboratory building D)
- You are also welcome to have lunch in the FH canteen or enjoy a coffee in the bistro.
- From 14:30 the FH-Seiterlstandl takes place in the inner courtyard.

New sustainability degree course "Sustainable Solutions", Bachelor, 6 semesters, full-time
"The future belongs to those who shape it!"
The new Bachelor's degree program "Sustainable Solutions" will be presented for the first time at the OpenHouse:
If you want to shape real sustainability, you have to have expertise in many areas. That's why our Sustainable Solutions course is interdisciplinary from day one. And theory is immediately brought to practical life: concrete projects and real challenges - here we work on meaningful solutions for "the real world". Sustainability experts examine value creation processes in companies, i.e. the path from the development of a product to marketing and recycling. They find and develop opportunities for improvement. In doing so, they have no fear of contact with business administration, technology or aspects of society as a whole, but really flourish in the intersection of disciplines. This makes them sought-after designers of a sustainable future.

It is not normally necessary to register for our Open House. For organizational reasons, however, we ask school classes/larger groups to register at 1day@fh-wels.at . We are also happy to answer any questions about our Open House at this email address and can also arrange special tours and lectures on request!
