Our upcoming Info Day, themed "Study for a Day", will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at our Hagenberg Campus. You can find more details about the event below.

Overview of our Info Day Program

In addition to our extensive program in German, we will also offer an English-language program on November 22. Discover our study programs through a variety of English-taught sessions. Join us for campus tours and presentations on our international degree programs, receive guidance from our staff and students, and gain insights into projects and student life— all in English. Taster Sessions: Open Lectures & Seminars + Insights into Projects (in German, partially in English)

The special thing about our Info Day: the faculty presents itself in “real mode” - the courses taking place on this day are open to all interested parties. Whether you spend a day in the first semester of your desired degree program, get a taste of lectures and tutorials from different year groups or get to know many different degree programs with short visits is entirely up to you. Also take the opportunity to experience our students’ exciting projects up close – giving you a real insight into the program and how we put theory into practice!

9.30 - 10.00 a.m. & 2.00 - 2.30 p.m. in the karriere.at Audimax (FH2 building, level 0)

We offer you an overview of the entire range of courses on offer, with a focus on our Bachelor's degree programs and an outlook on the advanced Master's degree programs. You will also receive information on accommodation and leisure activities and a first insight into student life.

10.00 - 10.30 a.m. in the karriere.at Audimax (FH2 building, level 0)

We offer you an overview of the entire range of courses on offer, with a focus on our English-taught Bachelor's degree programm "Artificial Intelligence Solutions" and an outlook on the advanced Master's degree programs, including our English-taught Master in "Interactive Media". You will also receive information on accommodation and leisure activities and a first insight into student life.

Here you will receive all the important information about the daily schedule and the program items. Our team will help you with any questions and give you guidance so that you can make the most of your visit. Whether you need a program booklet with maps and lecture times, information material on your desired course of study, housing, scholarships and student grants or simply tips - we are here for you!

Student Lounge: Current students share insights into their bachelor’s programs (in German, also in English - just ask)

11.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. & 3.30 - 4:30 p.m. in BMD SRC1 (FH2 building, level 2)

Are you still wavering between Bachelor's degree programs or do you still have questions about a specific one? In our cozy Student Lounge, current students from all of our Bachelor's degree programs will be available to answer your questions. Take advantage of the relaxed atmosphere to find out directly from students about their study experiences. Whether you have questions about studying, living, leisure or life on campus - you'll find authentic insights and valuable tips here!

Parents Lounge (in German, also in English - just ask)

12.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. & 4.00 - 5.00 p.m. in ATL/FH2.224 (FH2 building, level 2)

In a relaxed atmosphere, parents have the opportunity to talk to our student advisors and professors. Get answers to your questions about studying in Hagenberg, career prospects and campus life - and find out how the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria supports your children on their educational path.

Study Program Advisory Labs: Guidance on our Bachelor + Master programs

Get personal advice from professors and students about your desired degree program – covering everything from course content and career prospects to projects and everyday campus life!

Info Talk: Study Abroad (in German)

11:00 - 11:30 a.m. in the karriere.at Audimax (FH2 building, level 0)

Discover the world with a semester abroad! In this lecture, you will learn everything you need to know about the opportunities to study abroad and how the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria can support you. In addition to basic information, students will also share their personal experiences and give you valuable insights into living and studying in other countries. Let yourself be inspired and find out how a semester abroad can broaden your horizons!

Info Talk: Studying without Matura (in German)

3.30 - 4.00 p. m. in the karriere.at Audimax (FH2 building, level 0)

Studying without a Matura/A-Levels etc. - is that possible? Yes! In this lecture you will find out how you can find your way into university without a school-leaving certificate. We will inform you about the admission requirements, funding opportunities and the process of the part-time study qualification course at the FH Upper Austria. You can also find out how students have already mastered the entry into the degree course at our university and what prospects it opens up for you.

In addition to the Info Day, we also offer you other opportunities to get first-hand information about our range of degree programs and to get to know our campus better. Throughout the academic year, we organize various other info events (on site and online) and invite interested parties to campus tours (on site and online) with subsequent study advice as well as to a taster day with a student guide! You can also take advantage of our personal student advisory service.
