Shared Vision, Shared Future: Wels Campus and SSPU Strengthen Ties

On November 7, 2025, FH Upper Austria, Campus Wels, welcomed a six-member delegation from Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU), led by President Prof. Xie Huaqing, for a courtesy visit aimed at deepening mutual understanding and consolidating the long-standing partnership between the two institutions. The concise morning program included an introduction to the campus with highlights on materialsand energy research, a brief campus tour showcasing selected laboratories as well as a productive networking lunch. Discussions focused on identifying concrete academic and research collaboration opportunities across disciplines, expanding student exchange programs and discussing mechanisms for faculty exchange and shared research initiatives. Both sides also explored potential bilateral research projects and other avenues for cooperation of mutual interest. The visit reaffirmed the strong and enduring relationship between SSPU and FH Upper Austria and set a promising foundation for future academic and scientific collaboration.
