In the course “Powerplants for Electrical Power Generation,” students in the 1st semester of the ElectricalEngineeringBachelor’s programme learn about this topic. To ensure they don’t only study theory but also gain practical knowledge, the curriculum includes excursions. The Power Plant Park in Timelkam was the destination for this year’s excursion, where students from ElectricalEngineeringand the International Foundation Programme visited at the end of January. In Timelkam, Energie AG generates energy from biomass, as well as with gas and steam turbines. A museum offers visitors interesting information on electricity – both today and historically. Thanks to Energie AG and our technical guides, Daniel and Simon, for the great tour of the power plant!
