Estephany Calle Chávez from Peru

Hello everyone! I'm Estephany Calle from Peru. I studied the Master in Arts of Global Sales and Marketing in the campus of Steyr. I know that seeing a university far away from home can raise a lot of questions. So don't hesitate to ask me anything you can think of, I'm always happy to help.

I have been here in Europe since August 2021, which I split between being in Austria for the programme and Germany for Erasmus (semester abroad). Life at the FH is full of knowledge, personal improvement, English and German improvement, and lots of fun with such cool activities: from academic activities like InnoCamp (36 hours to come up with solutions for real business challenges) to social activities like Spritzerstand (almost once a month a booth is formed at the FH to drink Spritzer while talking to your friends/professors).

"Can I enrol in the programme without any knowledge of German?” Yes, as long as the programme is in English, there is no problem. In my case, I started studying German here between academies, courses at the FH and practising with friends. So if you don't know the language, don't worry! You will pick it up gradually as you are surrounded by the language. Also, the level of English spoken by Austrians is super high, so there will always be ways to communicate.
