Winter School in Medical Engineering 2026

The Department of Medical Engineering and the International Office invite you to our seventh Winter School in Medical Engineering. The key areas will be: “Medical Simulations, Telemonitoring, Bioprinting and Materials”. There will be workshops, lectures, tutorials, field visits and social activities.

Our Winter School is eligible for funding under the Erasmus+ for short-term mobility (if approved and funded by your home university — please check with your International Office regarding availability of budget). The virtual part will take place in early January 2026, before the physical mobility. The exact date will be announced later. Students will receive 3 ECTS for their participation in the virtual and physical parts.

Admission requirements for students are:

• Studies in Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, technical studies with focus on medicine (mechatronics, medical electronics, …)
• Students: preferred at the end of their undergraduate/bachelor studies (5th semester)
• English: min. B1
