Hello everyone! I’m Raquel, originally from Brazil. I graduated from the Global Salesand Marketing program in July 2023 and am currently working as a Customer Insights Manager at TGW Logistics Group.
I chose to study the Global Salesand Marketing program because of its unique focus on B2B (business to business) salesand marketing, which sets it apart from the traditional B2C (business to customer) approach that is common in most business degrees. The professors in the program are exceptional! They are experienced professionals who have been successful in both their industrial careers and academic pursuits (PhDs). The classes are very international, but we also have Austrians, so you get to practice your German. The program is fully taught in English, which contributes to the multicultural group. The Management School is in the beautiful small town of Steyr. You can get around on foot, so there’s no need to worry about extra transportation costs to get to the university. The people are very friendly and welcoming, even if you don’t speak German (but you should learn!). Now that I’ve graduated and am working in Austria, I would be happy to support prospective students by sharing my experiences during the admission process, as well as providing insights into studying and working in Austria.
