You design, coordinate, and teach courses in the area of enterprise applications and architecture, business process management, database systems, and business intelligence. In addition, you supervise and coach our students during their thesis projects. You are responsible for the application, content design, management, and coordination of interdisciplinary (research) projects, and you develop, implement, and evaluate innovative didactic methods. Beyond teaching and research, you actively contribute to the further development of the degree programs. Attending conferences and publishing high-quality research outputs are also part of your responsibilities, as is contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a network with external partners. Administrative tasks specific to the position, such as contributing to the acquisition and coordination of study projects and representing the degree program at events and fairs, complete your profile of responsibilities.

You hold a doctoral degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field of study. You bring didactic qualifications and experience in higher education teaching. You also have expertise in applied research as well as at least 8 years of leadership experience and/or practical experience in the field of business information systems, enterprise application architecture, business process management, data management, and business intelligence after completing your dissertation. You are familiar with acquiring research projects and external funding, as well as with setting up research projects and leading research teams. You enjoy knowledge transfer and interactive exchange with students, possess excellent German and English language skills, and are motivated to further develop the Software Engineering study programs at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria with commitment and innovative ideas.
