As a UI/UX designer, you are responsible for the conception, design and optimisation of modern applications. You will accompany the entire design process from brainstorming, user flows, sketches and wireframes through to final implementation, working closely with web developers, researchers and software developers. With the help of modern design tools such as Figma, you will visualise user interfaces and optimise the developer experience by incorporating the requirements and working methods of developers into the design of interfaces in a targeted manner. You will also be involved in international research projects and work with key players in the energy industry. You will document and present your results in reports, workshops and publications and contribute to the dissemination of research results by participating in national and international specialist events.

You have a Master's degree in UI/UX design, HCI, computer science, media informatics, communication design or a related field and ideally have some experience of working with companies or in the field of research. Sound knowledge of scientific methodology and experience in conducting and analysing qualitative and quantitative surveys are an advantage. You have a very good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German is desirable. A confident handling of MS Office and common UI/UX design tools is a matter of course for you. Your way of working is characterised by independence, creativity and solution-orientation, while at the same time you work in a structured and team-oriented manner. The position can be filled part-time or full-time, with a Master's or Bachelor's degree - we will adapt to your qualifications!
