Charged with e-motion: The CompactDays - Connected at Wacker Neuson in Hörsching focused on the topics of digital transformation and zero emission, the interaction of different disciplines in mechanical engineering, and current trends and career opportunities.
Our AMM and EE master students used the CompactDays as an excursion to see how modern mechanical engineering combines the classic disciplines with electrics & electronics as well as software development. At various stations, Wacker Neuson presented their departments, invited to factory tours and to test their machines. All technical departments offered insights into their daily work and how they bring the digitalization of their products and processes to life.
During the tour through the production facilities, the AMM students also got an insight into some of Wacker Neuson´s pioneering innovations. At the end of the tour, the students had the opportunity to talk with Wacker Neuson´s HR representatives about the specific career opportunities at Wacker Neuson.
