Information Evening: Part-time & Dual Study @ Campus Hagenberg 2026
On Monday, January 26, 2026, the Faculty of Informatics, Communication and Media at FH Upper Austria (University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria) will host an information evening on its part-time and dual Informatics degree programs, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Our Part-Time and Dual Degree Programs
The following German-taught study programs will offer info booths at the info evening:
At the info evening, all study options can be discussed individually and in detail.
No registration is required to attend the info evening. We look forward to welcoming many participants!
Please note: We primarily provide advising at the individual program booths. Especially for bachelor’s degree programs, the number of prospective students may exceed the capacity for one-on-one consultations. In this case, advising will take place in a presentation format (starting at 6:15 p.m.). We therefore recommend arriving on time if possible.
How Are Our Part-Time Degree Programs Organized?
In the Software Engineering, Human-Centered Computing, andInformation Engineeringand Management programs, classes usually take place on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, complemented by a small number of full-day block sessions. In addition, e-learning components support flexible studying from home.
In the Master’s Degree in Information Security Management, there are blocked on-campus weeks each semester, with regular evening online classes between the block sessions.
The dual degree program in Hardware–Software Design, on the other hand, is structured around alternating theoretical phases at the universityandpaid practical training phases at a partner company.
Campus Tour & Information on Studying Without a High School Diploma
On the same day, starting at 6:00 p.m., you will also have the opportunity at Hagenberg Campus to learn more about studying without a high school diploma as part of the info evening.
You will receive all the essential information about FH Upper Austria’s part-time University Preparation Program, which qualifies participants for degree studies, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Earlier that afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., interested participants can join a campus tour (registration required) to get to know the faculty and the campus in more detail.
