Via the highway A1 - exit St. Florian/Asten via Wolfern to Steyr
- from Vienna
Via the highway A1 - exit Haag to Steyr
- from Salzburg
Via the highway A1 - exit Sattledt via Kremsmünster, Bad Hall to Steyr
- from the direction of Graz
Via the Pyhrn-Autobahn A9 - exit Klaus via Leonstein, Grünburg to Steyr
- from Germany
Via Munich/Salzburg: A1 as described from Salzburg Via Passau: Innkreis-Autobahn A8 (border crossing Suben) via Linz, exit St. Florian/Asten to Steyr
In STEYR please follow the signs "Campus Steyr" or "Museum Arbeitswelt". The FH Campus is located directly next to the Museum Arbeitswelt.

Parking facilities
Parking facilities for students are available
- in the parking garage at Wieserfeldplatz (subject to charges),
- the Stadthalle underground garage at Tabor (approx. 12 min walk; approx. 100 parking spaces - 0-3 hours free, each additional ½ hour costs 50 cents) and
- in the Stadtplatz Garage (approx. 10 min walk; approx. 260 parking spaces; ½ hour costs 60 cents).
Please note the short-term parking zone in Wehrgraben, some of which is subject to charges
By train
The journey with the Austrian Federal Railways is possible via Linz or St. Valentin (IC stop). From there there are direct connections to Steyr every 1/2 hour. From the train station in Steyr, the best way to get to the FH Campus is by cab or on foot (walking time approx. 10 minutes).
By bus
Steyr is easily accessible by bus from Linz and the surrounding towns - as far as Kirchdorf. The bus terminal is located at the train station.
Airplane
The nearest airport is Linz "Blue Danube Airport" (LNZ), with direct connections to Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Graz, Salzburg, Vienna and Zurich. Travel to Steyr by rental car or cab. Alternatively, there are shuttle buses to Linz main station.
