1. Inform yourself - study advice and events

Advice by e-mail, telephone and via Teams: Our study program assistants are happy to answer all questions by e-mail or in a personal meeting. Please send an email to the degree program with your questions or contact details. Advice is provided via telephone conference - the web link (without registration) will then be sent to you.

2. View campus

A visit says more than 1,000 pictures or words. Our tip: Either use one of our info days, 1day or campus tours for a visit and a consultation or simply come by, take in what is “probably the most beautiful campus in Austria” and perhaps combine it with a coffee or lunch on our canteen terrace right by the river.

3. Apply online

You can apply online with immediate effect.

We will process your application for a study place immediately.

The invitation and appointment for the admission interview/procedure will be sent by e-mail by the respective degree program, the result will then be announced.

By the way:
You can apply for 2 degree programs at the FH Upper Austria (please specify Prio 1 and Prio 2). Certificates (such as the Matura certificate, Bachelor's degree certificate, etc.) that are not yet available at the time of the online application can be submitted at a later date.

4. Admission procedure

Applicants who meet the formal requirements will be invited to the admission procedure.

The invitation, appointment for the admission interview/procedure and all detailed information will be sent by e-mail, and the result will be communicated afterwards.

5. Feedback

All applicants will receive further information about the application process at the interview. We also send written feedback on the status quo of the application and the further procedure by email.

You did it! Received confirmation. What's next...

Your study place is secured! You are now ready to start your studies. The start of your studies begins with introductory events and information events about life on campus (Welcome Program).

You will receive all information about the start of your studies (dates, book orders, payment deadlines) by e-mail in the summer.

If you are informed about conditional admission, you may still be missing a positive degree certificate or other documents. As soon as these have been submitted, admission is confirmed.

Keep calm if you are on the waiting list for the time being. You will be informed as soon as a place becomes available. This is possible at any time up to the start of studies in September.

By the way: If you have received a rejection, you can reapply the following year.
