Regular Application Period (June 30 with exceptions)

Applications for the upcoming academic year open on October 1 of the previous year and are accepted until June 30 before the start of studies (for part-time programs, studies usually start in September; for full-time programs, at the beginning of October).

Exceptions: For the Bachelor's programs in Artificial Intelligence Solutions and Digital Arts, and the Master’s program in Interactive Media, applications are accepted only until May 31.

We strongly recommend submitting your application as early as possible, rather than waiting until the deadline, to secure a place in your preferred program!

Additional Information for Non-EU Applicants: For applicants who need a visa to study in Austria and do not yet hold a valid residence permit, please submit your application as soon as possible, as the visa process can take several months.

Once you have completed your online application, your documents will be reviewed. If eligible, you will be invited to an interview. The invitation and scheduling details for the admission interview/assessment will be sent by email, and you will be informed of the outcome afterward. For more information on the admission process, please refer to the details below.

After the regular application period ends, online applications may still be submitted until September 15 for study programs with remaining study places.
